Hana Tongdok 2.0 Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the Hana Tongdok 2.0 service ("Service") provided by Lion and the Lab ("Company").

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service is an app for Bible reading and Scripture memorization, providing the following features:

4 reading plans: Canonical, Chronological, M'Cheyne, and Hana Tongdok
Scientific Scripture memorization system based on the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve
Streaks, calendar heatmap, and progress charts
5 Bible translations (Korean Revised, New Korean, NIV, WEB, Chinese Union Version)
TTS audio reading feature
5-color highlights, notes, and memorization list

Article 3 (Accounts)

Users may log in using email, Google, or Apple accounts.
Users may delete their account at any time through the in-app settings. Upon deletion, all data (reading records, memorization records, highlights, notes, etc.) will be permanently removed.

Article 4 (User Obligations)

Users must not use the Service for illegal or inappropriate purposes.
Users must not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Bible text or content within the Service without authorization.

Article 5 (Copyright)

Bible text copyrights belong to the respective copyright holders of each translation (Korean Revised: Korean Bible Society, NIV: Biblica, etc.).
Intellectual property rights for the Service's UI, design, and software belong to the Company.
TTS audio is provided through third-party services, and their respective terms of service apply.
Copyrights for notes and highlights created by users belong to the respective users.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not liable for service unavailability caused by network failures or disruptions to external services (TTS services, cloud servers, etc.).
The Company assumes limited liability for data synchronization delays or errors between the web and app versions.

Article 7 (Service Changes and Suspension)

The Company may modify the Service or suspend it temporarily or permanently.
Users will be notified in advance of any changes or suspension through in-app announcements.

Article 8 (Amendment of Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms and will notify users through in-app announcements. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the Service and delete their account.
