Nestling Privacy Policy

Nestling has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no servers. The app contains no networking code. Everything you enter — baby profiles, feeds, diapers, sleep, growth measurements, vaccinations, photos, and notes — is stored only in a private database on your device.

The cry listener and voice log use the microphone on-device only. Audio is analyzed in memory in real time and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted. Speech recognition is performed on-device.

The label scanner uses the camera (or a photo you pick) to recognize text on-device. Images are processed locally and are never uploaded.

You can export a backup of your data at any time from within the app; the export is handed to you (e.g. to save or share) and is never sent anywhere automatically. Deleting the app removes all stored data.

Turn on airplane mode. Every feature in Nestling keeps working — proof that nothing depends on, or is sent to, the network.

Nestling is a tool for parents and caregivers. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
